The New York Women’s Chamber is a very unique chamber of commerce. In response to the needs of its members, the women’s chamber evolved from an advocacy and networking organization to a one stop shop for those looking to realize their entrepreneurial dreams.

True to its mission of empowering women, every year the Women’s Chamber hosts “The New York Women of Excellence Awards” to honor those women that have become a success within their field. Quenia Abreu, President and CEO of the New York Women’s Chamber, states that she created the award ceremony to “recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the many women who have excelled in different industries and who have contributed to the social and economic development of this city and ignited an entrepreneurial spirit in their communities.”
