We are New York's advocate for women entrepreneurs.

About the Women's Chamber

WHO WE ARE

The New York Women’s Chamber of Commerce (NYWCC) is a 501c3 not for profit organization established in the City of New York in 2002 to address the obstacles disproportionately faced by women—particularly women of color—in achieving success and economic independence through small business ownership, microenterprise, and self-employment.

WHAT WE DO

NYWCC is an advocate of gender equity, parity and social economic justice, actively working in partnership with the City and State of New York to level the playing field and create equal and fair business opportunities for women and entrepreneurs of color.

Advocating: We advocate for women and minority entrepreneurs, and act as the collective voice for women, entrepreneurs of color and small businesses on public policy and economic development decisions at all levels of government.

Connecting: We connect women and minority entrepreneurs to clients, business networks, government agencies and corporations for business and contracting opportunities. We also connect Women and minority entrepreneurs with the resources and funding they need to start, develop and grow their businesses.

Opening Doors: We open doors by working with government, corporations, small businesses and community stakeholders to break down barriers to entry and ensure that women and minority entrepreneurs of color are included in economic opportunities and given access to the resources they need to build capacity, grow their business and create generational wealth.
